Drawing to MakingPart 1  is the first of two painting exhibitions curated by John Crossley and includes abstract heavyweights such as Mali Morris RA, Jeff Dellow and Clyde Hopkins.  Between them they have shown at the Royal Academy, Serpentine Gallery, Whitechapel Gallery, Hayward Gallery, Barbican and John Moores Liverpool.

The exhibition brings together nine artists - John Crossley, Jeff Dellow, Sharon Drew, Clyde Hopkins, Derek Marks, Mali Morris R.A, Alex Ramsay, Alan Smith, Barrington Tobin - showing works from the initial drawing or idea to the final outcome. Expect to see contemporary, vibrant and engaging paintings.

Curator John Crossley comments: This is an opportunity to experience an exciting and rare insight into the initial beginnings of a work and mark its journey to its completion. A compelling exhibition of concept and completion sitting side-by-side.

GATHERING MOMENTUM  -  Art@42, Notting Hill Gate.

The Private View for Art@42 Notting Hill Gate on Wednesday evening should be a good night with music being provided by the duo JC Carroll & Tony Reeves.  JC was in Punk Band The Members and Tony Reeves is an exceptional jazz /folk /punk double bass player.

The venue is small and so it is best to RSVP to if you would like to come along.  This exhibition will be showing mostly paintings selected from my Light-Waves exhibition last year.
